Two Tweed Heads teens have been lucky enough to meet their reality TV idol at Pacific Fair after winning an online competition last month.

The competition, run by 1800 Schoolies and Bongo, offered three entrants and two of their friends the chance to win a meet and greet with Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore.

16-year-olds Nikaya Wyatt and Rosie Elliot said that they felt extremely lucky to win the competition, which was chosen randomly through Facebook.

“We had to comment and tag two friends, then they chose three people to meet her,” said Rosie.

“It was enjoyable and fun, and it was something we wanted to do for ages.”

Crosby first gained fame after appearing on MTV’s Geordie Shore and has now become an idol for the two young women.

Nikaya, who was chosen by Rosie to come along, said that they both looked up to the star as an inspiration.

“I guess she is [our idol], because she doesn’t care what other people think,” she said.

Crosby appeared at the meet and greet without makeup, dressed messily and playing on her phone, the girls said.

The girls were too young to see Charlotte’s appearance at Liv nightclub in Surfers Paradise but they were more than willing to share how the celeb has influenced them.

“We take party tips from Charlotte,” they said.

It isn’t the first time the pair have met Geordie Shore stars – in January they spoke to Gaz Beadle, and say they plan to meet other celebrities..

“There’s more to come.”
